Kanha Tiger Reserve is spread over a sprawling area of 1,949 sq. kms, offering a distinctive natural habitat that abounds in wildlife and tiger population.
At Kanha Earth Lodge, tucked in a small hamlet, in 16 acres of natural forest, bordering Kanha’s buffer zone, we stay true to our ethos of eco-tourism and conservation, while offering outstanding hospitality, in a quaint, yet luxurious abode. The lip-smacking flavours of local and global cuisine promise to satiate the taste buds, as do the myriad experiences of wild life and adventure, guided by our talented team of naturalists.
Kanha Earth Lodge is just located twenty-five minutes from the Khatia park gate, ensuring proximity to the Kanha Tiger Reserve, yet far from Kanha National Park’s tourist hub, thereby offering a pristine wilderness experience.
Twelve luxury cottages, inspired by Gond tribal architecture with open verandahs with unhindered and stunning views of the forests; make our guests stay idyllic. These environmentally sensitive, low-impact accommodations; are designed using local stone and waste wood. The absence of neighbouring lodges or thoroughfare creates an ideal setting for a peaceful and reflective time of relaxation and rejuvenation.

You are being pampered the moment you are at their premises with wet towels for face wipe and a glass of fresh juice. Resort blend very well with nature giving you a rustic feeling without compromising on the quality and space. Who needs electronic gadgets when you can hear your inner voice in that silence of the jungle, that means you won’t miss the TV or the wifi. Staffs never get tired of smiling at you with an awesome service of food and the beverages. You can enjoy poolside watching colourful birds. Bakery products are made in-house and the ice creams. This is my first trip to Kanha for photography trip with ace photographer Sudhir Shivram and started with a good opening note. I bet you won’t be disappointed if you stay here

Source - TripadvisorOne of the most luxurious eco-resorts in Kanha. Another favorite resort by Pugdundee Safaris. The cottages in Kanha Earth Lodge are created to resemble the mud houses of MP. Of course, they are completely luxurious from the inside. The shower area is especially beautiful. They also have accommodation where two rooms are joined together for larger groups and families. Each cottage has a sit-out where you can enjoy the feeling of being in a jungle and spot birds and butterflies from, as you sip your tea. The central building is my favorite part of the resort.
